This was our go to place when stayed in Lerwick for a fortnight. Delicious food (try the French toast or any of the cakes!), really good coffee and run by lovely lovely people who always made us feel so welcome. This is really worth a visit.
A very nice local little cafe, cakes were good the one I had seemed home made. We sat outside which was perfect little sun trap with a view of the harbour. The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful for my partner gluten free The coffee was done properly. There is a knitting type tourist shop attached. There is plenty of indoor seating too.
Busy cafe that does a great brunch and quality cakes and treats. Coffee is good too. I was initially sceptical about the cardboard ‘plates’ but they are sturdy and don’t get soft! The eggs were cooked perfectly.
The latte was excellent. The local full fat milk just tasted so good. Superb!
The Perrie Shop Cafe, Campbells Close, Esplanade, Lerwick ZE1 0LL. We came in near the end of the day and most stock was sold out. We ordered a latte and ice latte both of which were really nice. Great coffee beans used, we were able to get the last two home baked cakes both of which were tasty and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and would go back here no problem.
Pretty sure thst was the best bun I have ever eaten. The almond croissant was beyond belief.
Delicious!! Let's try! Every Wednesday @peerieshopcafe make reestit mutton soup, a dish unique to the Shetland Islands. Each butcher has its own secret recipe for making reestit mutton, but before the middle of the 1970s, this process was something done at home.
Excellent breakfast this morning, after getting off Northlink ferry. Best porridge I've ever had! Staff were lovely and friendly and everything was really clean. Definitely visiting again. Thank you
